Most brides aren’t using bags, local bridal consultants say. Those who do sometimes use a vintage bag from mom or grandma. But there is a selection of bags available at local bridal salons for brides who choose to buy one. Cornell-Ferris recommends a tiny beaded bag that coordinates with the gown. Mitchell sells a few diamond-white purses, but most brides are purchasing rhinestone clutches that can be used again and again. “Instead of buying a purse for the wedding, some brides will buy a beautiful little bag for the rehearsal dinner or honeymoon,” Jaymand notes.
