Do you love shows like Food Network’s “Chopped”? Then get off the couch and watch a real-life cooking competition this Friday, March 2, at The University & Whist Club.
The Kids Cook Off event, presented by the Wilmington Flower Market’s committee, pairs junior chefs with talented local chefs—including Michael Crispin of The University & Whist Club, Michael Tumolo of Cafe Riviera, and Gretchen Sianni of De La Coeur Café et Pâtisserie and De La Coeur Café et Boulangerie. Dishes will be prepared from a mystery basket of ingredients, and reviewed by a panel of judges.
WSTW’s Mike Rossi will host the event, which will also include a silent auction, plenty of food and a cash bar. Proceeds will benefit the annual Wilmington Flower Market.
Event tickets are $50 per person or $90 per couple, and can be purchased on the Wilmington Flower Market’s website.
