Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

An endocrine disorder that is thought to be genetic, PCOS causes an imbalance of hormones and, on occasion, the formation of small cysts on the ovaries. PCOS can cause problems with normal ovulation.

  • Acne
  • Weight gain
  • Thinning hair
  • Irregular periods
  • Infertility
  • Depression

Treatment

  • Exercise
