Reduced-Calorie Cocktail Recipe: Jalapeño Margarita, Nage Restaurant

Jalapeño Margarita

1 jalapeño
1 tablespoon agave nectar
1 1/2 ounces tequila
fresh lime
soda water
salt (optional)

Combine 5 slices of fresh jalapeño, 1 tablespoon of agave nectar, 1 ½ ounces of tequila and juice from ½ a lime in a shaker. Add pint glass full of ice to shaker and shake to mix ingredients and infuse jalapeño into the tequila. Rim glass with salt if desired. Pour mixture into a glass over ice and add soda water to fill the glass. Make sure the jalapeño slices are throughout the drink, and add an extra slice or two on top of the drink before serving. Garnish with a lime wheel.  160 calories
