Feel like you’ve been sitting in beach traffic all summer? Now’s the perfect time to schedule a relaxing evening out while the weather is still warm. This Wednesday, Aug. 29, is your last chance to stroll, jog or bike through Hagley’s property for its popular Bike & Hike & Brews event. (You can even bring along your canine companions!)
Dogfish Head beer and Woodside Farm Creamery ice cream will be available for purchase. Bring along your own picnic or dine at the Belin House Organic Café. Or, order a Bike & Hike picnic tote by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, and your dinner will be waiting for you at the cafe on Wednesday evening. The $20 artisan-made totes—yours for the keeping—include two sandwiches, one salad, one side dish, cookies and beverages, along with utensils, napkins and plates. (View the full menu and place your order on Hagley’s website.)
The event begins at 5 p.m. Admission is $3 per person, and free for Hagley members as well as children five and under.
