“The most important aspect of my specialty would have to be the successful outcome for the mom and baby with the team of skilled staff I work with. When you have a team moving in sync to provide care for a timed outcome—mostly the mother’s timing—you tend to feel that is the most important aspect of our speciality. The fact that I have the pleasure of coordinating new staff education and ongoing staff education, to maximize those outcomes is rewarding.”
