Tutto Fresco Celebrates 23 Years

The popular Italian restaurant is rolling out a new menu to commemorate the occasion.

Tutto Fresco in Wilmington recently celebrated its 23rd anniversary. Owners Vince and Barbara Scotto opened the restaurant (originally called Pasta Blitz by Lamberti’s), on Nov. 16, 1994, at 514 Philadelphia Pike at the top of Penny Hill.

In honor of nearly a quarter century in business, Tutto Fresco has developed a new menu, which features imaginative offerings as well as the traditional Italian cuisine that diners have come to count on.

Vince says the original concept for Pasta Blitz by Lamberti’s was a simple menu of pasta and chicken at one price with full dining service. Portions were generous—perhaps too generous. The couple turned the restaurant into Lamberti’s Cucina and eventually opened a second Lamberti’s at Prices Corner. That was sold a few years later and no longer exists.

The couple currently lives in New Castle County, where they raise two teenagers.
