REP’s five-show season presents everything from Shakespeare to a world premiere. “Hamlet,” Shakespeare’s tale of corruption and vengeance, will be directed by Tony Award-nominated Mark Lamos, who The New York Times has called “a poet of the theater.” See “Hamlet” Feb. 28-March 16. The world premiere was written specifically for the REP by Theresa Rebeck, whose “O Beautiful” was staged by REP two years ago. The comedy—still untitled—looks at gender politics as friends and strangers gather at a local watering hole. It plays April 18-May 4. (Newark, 831-2204, udel.edu/theatre)
