I care for patients and their loved ones during their most vulnerable moments. I am proud to have the opportunity to provide comfort and support. Caring is an important quality. A great nurse looks past a patient’s diagnosis and focuses on caring for the person as a whole. The most rewarding aspect of my work is seeing the progress patients make during their hospital stay. I take great satisfaction in helping patients learn to manage a chronic illness, like diabetes. Seeing them leave the hospital knowing how to inject their own insulin is very rewarding.
