Yes, it’s cold out there. And on winter nights (or afternoons) like these, you probably don’t feel much like cooking. Luckily, you don’t have to, because the Downtown Newark Partnership is hosting its 11th annual Restaurant Week, beginning Monday, Jan. 15 through Sunday, Jan. 21. At least a dozen Newark-area eateries are involved in the event, which includes a two-course lunch for $10 or $15 at most participating restaurants and a two-, three- or four-course dinner for $25, $28, $30 or $35, respectively.
Participating restaurants include:
- Caffè Gelato
- Catherine Rooney’s Irish Pub and Restaurant
- Deer Park Tavern
- Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen
- The Greene Turtle
- Grotto Pizza
- Home Grown Café
- Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant
- Klondike Kate’s
- Santa Fe Mexican Grill
- Stone Balloon Ale House (closed Mondays)
- Taverna
