Westin Wilmington: A Destination

This stunning hotel is a prime spot for visitors.

Located in the heart of the Riverfront, the Westin Wilmington is a key attraction, enhancing the district as a destination for business, convention and pleasure travelers.

“With the addition of the Westin, and it being connected to the Chase Center, meeting and association planners are attracted to the convenience of events that are ‘all under one roof,’” says Sarah Willoughby, executive director of the Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau. “We also have seen an increased interest in larger groups using the Westin.”

The hotel adjoins the Chase Center on the Riverfront, providing convenient lodgings for guests at weddings, conventions and other large events. Self-parking and shuttle service within a two-mile radius of the hotel are free.

With an elegant, contemporary vibe, the Westin offers 180 guest rooms and suites, all outfitted with the hotel’s signature Heavenly Beds with pillow-top mattresses, as well as luxurious marble baths.

Amenities include an indoor pool, fitness studio, Lobby Lounge and the River Rock Kitchen, featuring locally sourced small plates. A 2,100-square-foot legal center is equipped with dedicated Internet service and includes a boardroom, corner office, flexible workstations and a hospitality suite.

Designed as a LEED Silver-rated building, the Westin is eco-friendly. It’s pet-friendly, too. Dogs up to 40 pounds are welcome guests.
