Virginia A. Logan
Chadds Ford, Pa.
Executive Director, Brandywine Conservancy
As a land trust that has permanently protected more than 58,000 acres of land and as a museum of American art, featuring work of three generations of Wyeths and others in the Brandywine School, the conservancy not only strives for programming excellence, but also seek connections between art and the environment, Logan says. As executive director, she functions as its CEO. “Crossing over to nonprofit leadership after a career in the for-profit sector was my big dream,” Logan says. “It is even better in reality.” Look for a major exhibition that will travel internationally in 2017 to mark the 100th birthday of Andrew Wyeth.
