Wilmington Beer Week isn’t 21 yet, but its seventh year will feature beer from 60 craft breweries, tap takeovers, special dinners and more from Nov. 6–11. Check out a few of the thirst-quenching specials below.
BBC Tavern and Grill
This local favorite will host a tap takeover featuring Oskar Blues Dale’s Pale Ale and Oskar Blues Mama’s Yella Pilsner. Throughout the week, the restaurant will be pouring $4.50 drafts.
Cromwell’s Tavern and Taqueria
Allagash is the name of the game here, with Allagash White, Allagash Hoppy Table, Allagash Black on special (try a flight for $8.50). The beers can be paired with a Cali Turkey Grill Sandwich or a quesadilla; a burger, cheesesteak or steak frits; and chicken salad or dessert, respectively.
Ernest & Scott Taproom
The restaurant will offer a “Build Your Own Flight” for $10 with any five draft beers, 50 percent off select large format beers and a $30, three-course prix-fixe menu.
As part of Beer Week, the Taproom will host a fall harvest beer dinner on Thursday, Nov. 9 featuring 10 Tröegs brews. At $55 per person, the dinner will feature a four-course meal at 7 p.m., with beer and snacks starting at 6 p.m.
Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant
Throughout the week, Iron Hill will have a beer sample, featuring four, 4-ounce award-winning beers for $6.
On Tuesday, Nov. 7, Iron Hill in Wilmington will host its 6 Degrees of Bacon Beer Dinner. The dinner—the last and final installment of the annual event—will feature six bacon-themed courses, paired with six different beers. The event costs $75 per person. Call 472-2739 to make a reservation.
