Kat and Brooke Wyman want everyone to be fearless in the pursuit of what sets their soul on fire. In 2018, they melded their love for people and yoga into Soulfire Collective in Rehoboth Beach.

More than a yoga studio, Soulfire is a community and a culture that brings people together with a mission to showcase vulnerability as a gateway to living a beautiful and courageous life through the power of yoga. “We are here to empower people to live a life of possibility and connection on and off the mat,” Kat says.

While yoga is important to them, Kat and Brooke say it’s the people that get them out of bed in the morning. “Yoga is a vehicle for us, but truthfully what we are most passionate about is people,” Kat says. “Brooke and I are also passionate about Rehoboth in general, so we really try to consciously get out and be seen and engaged in our community.”

During the COVID-19 shutdown, they found ways to safely keep in touch with clients, providing digital and outdoor yoga classes, and Zoom happy hours. When they were able to host yoga in-person classes again, Kat and Brooke realized just how much they missed their community. “To be back in our space and hearing the music pumping and seeing the light in people’s eyes was the best thing,” Brooke says.
